The Role

As a Product Designer at Google, you will shape intuitive, elegant, and impactful user experiences across our products. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and other Designers to turn complex problems into simple, human-centered solutions.

You will be involved from early discovery to final delivery, influencing both strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

- Design end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile products

- Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into clear design solutions

- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs

- Conduct and leverage user research and usability testing

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle

- Contribute to and evolve Google’s design systems and design language

- Advocate for design quality, accessibility, and inclusivity

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role

- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and problem-solving skills

- Experience designing for complex products or platforms

- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)

- Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on large-scale or consumer-facing products

- Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards (WCAG)

- Experience collaborating with engineering teams on implementation

- Background in user research or data-informed design decisions
